The AMBER Plan is a voluntary partnership between law-enforcement agencies and broadcasters to activate an urgent bulletin in the most serious child-abduction cases. Broadcasters use the Emergency Alert System (EAS), to air a description of the abducted child and suspected abductor.
It’s up to every one of us to protect America ’s children. And it takes a community to protect the children in their neighborhood. We must work to build strong communities where individuals, families, and children are valued and supported and protected.
