If you are pregnant as a result of incest or rape

• Anyone under the age of 18 who is a victim of incest or rape should have a support network. It’s imperative to find an adult to confide in.

• The person you confide in should be someone who is very trustworthy and someone the victim feels comfortable with, and someone who can offer guidance and assistance.

• The person you choose does not have to be your parent unless you feel comfortable telling them. If you don’t, good people to consult with are teachers, members of the clergy, neighbors, therapists, rape crisis counselors, physicians, or other trained professionals.
